This year we are continuing our series of monthly online talks, with speakers and topics and group conversations. You can sign up below, or go to our youtube channel to view previous events.
Anyone with an interest in wellbeing will enjoy these meetings. Our attendees are diverse: innovators, practitioners and consumers of wellbeing, from the Public, Charity, Community and Voluntary, and Private sectors. Together our ambition is to explore ways of doing wellbeing better.
We need new solutions, led by communities. These can only emerge through conversation. They can't be planned, controlled or mandated. We need to create them, and we do this by sharing stories and talking about them. This is what communities do. It's unpredictable, but it's how wellbeing works.
In January we outlined our vision for a more connected communities. In February, Councillor Keith Hambly-Staite from Feock Parish Council and colleagues from the HAIRE project explained how they have been engaging local communities in support of Healthy Ageing. These are just some of the diverse topics covered in our programme, which aims to bring to light what is working in our communities. You can view recordings of previous meetings here on our youtube channel.
